The “Kristin” in this estate blend is named after the daughter of Korbin Kameron’s co-founders. A bold choice, but one that delivers on the promise that the experience it offers is impeccable. Winemaking veteran Bob Papi transforms Cab Sauv and Merlot grapes into a phenomenal Bordeaux-style blend marked by bodacious fruit flavor and prominent tannins. Few labels were made, so buy now or regret later.

About the wine

: If you’re going to name a wine after one of your children, it had better be good. This unwritten law is one of the guiding forces behind Korbin Kameron’s exquisite limited production Bordeaux-style cuvee, named after co-founder Michael and Jenny Ming’s daughter. Fortunately, its creation is in the hands of Bob Pepi, the acclaimed winemaker whose viticultural handiwork has landed on Wine Spectator’s “Top 100 Wines of the Year” list on two separate occasions. It’s clear he knows what’s at stake, as he’s plucked prime Cab Sauv and Merlot fruit from the estate’s appellation-straddling vineyard and guided them into a harmonious expression of Napa Valley terroir. Bold essences of blackberry, cherry, cassis, oak, and spice drive the wine’s journey from nose to palate, while pronounced tannins lead to a long, lingering finish. It’s an ideal addition for any oenophile looking to add to their own “family” of wines.

About the winery and vineyard

Korbin Kameron is a family affair in the truest sense of the word. The winery draws its moniker from owner Michael and Jenny Ming’s twins, Korbin and Kameron. According to Michael, the vines planted to the winery’s humble 19-acre estate vineyard also embody the very characteristics his family possess, like creativity and exuberance. It’s hard to argue with his assessment, considering that the vineyard is spread over the prestigious Mt. Veeder AVA in Napa County and the recently-christened Moon Mountain AVA in Sonoma County. The unique geographic layout allows veteran winemaker Bob Pepi to consistently source grapes that capture the true essence of both neighboring counties; a trait that serves as the backbone of the winery’s cavalcade of acclaimed, limited production wines. The fruit from these special vines forge the soul of this Bordeaux-style blend. While this sublime cuvee bears the name of Michael’s other child, its ultimate purpose is to be a wellspring of fond memories and happy time for the families and friends lucky enough to secure a bottle.

About the winemaker

Bob Pepi has seen it all and done it all during his illustrious 40+year winemaking career. His passion for viticultural perfection has led him to regions usual and unusual, like Argentina and Texas. His uncanny knack for producing one 90+point gem after another earned him two separate entries on Wine Spectator’s prestigious “Top 100 Wines of the Year” list. He helped his dad launch Robert Pepi Wines back in the day, and he’s also collaborated with racing legend Mario Andretti to make wines for the latter’s eponymous winery. These impressive feats that mark Bob’s stellar career are wide-reaching, but they’re all tied together by the underlying principle of seeking great fruit to make great wine. Bob has since turned Korbin Kameron’s winemaking duties over to Timothy Milos, a superb talent whose own eye-catching resume includes stints at Opus One and Stags Leap Wine Cellars. Timothy’s immense skill set all but assures Korbin Kameron will be an indomitable force in Napa for years to come.

Other Offers

Thank you for trusting Vivino for your wine orders! In order to ensure that your wine is protected from the elements during transport, Vivino has developed a comprehensive program for temperature controlled shipping:

  • All shipments to Non-West Coast states (CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, NV, AZ, CO, NM) will be sent via temperature controlled truck to the closest regional hub. These facilities, referred to as "gateways", are temperature controlled and located strategically throughout the country.
  • Once a shipment arrives at the gateway*, it will be transferred to UPS or Fedex for the final part of its journey

* Note that ice packs (if ordered) will be added to your package at this time.

All orders placed before 1pm EST on Wednesday will be shipped out on Friday of the same week. All orders placed after this time will be stored in a temperature controlled warehouse and shipped out the following Friday.

Delivery times, therefore, may take 8-14 days from order date, accounting for fulfillment, 4-5 days shipment to the regional hub, and 1-2 days for local delivery.

If you would like a more expeditious delivery option, please select 2-Day or Overnight Shipping.

Tracking information will not be available for your shipment until it reaches the regional hub, due to the fact that the shipment is sent via common (temperature controlled) carrier and there is no individual tracking number for the package.

You will however receive a confirmation email indicating that your shipment has left the West Coast warehouse and is en route to your closest regional hub. Your order will say "UPS Label Created", but this label will not be scanned until it reaches the regional hub.

Once the shipment reaches the regional hub, you will be able to track your package (likely 4-5 days after shipping date). At this point, the package is en route to your home/office.

  • Your wine can be protected from environmental damage for the entirety of its journey
