At First we were taken by the elegant looking bottle but with an SRP of $65 we weren’t sure it would live up to its price. We were wrong. This close-out is worth three times today’s offer price.
About the wine
Bordigion Estate is a tiny unknown producer in Sonoma near Peter Michael’s compound. When it comes to legacy--the pristine, sprawling vineyards that yield top-notch wines today were originally planted in the 1880s, and the original owners knew good terroir when they spotted it. Revitalized by nomadic motorcycle enthusiast gone farmer Dean Bordigioni after decades of neglect, these ancient vines are singing again.
Inspired by the winemaking traditions of his Italian heritage, Bordigioni takes a hands-on, bumps-and-bruises approach to the vineyard and winery to craft the finest caliber wines from the Sonoma estate. We’ll raise a glass of his Bordeaux blend to that!

"Very Enoyable!" - Jeff T.

"Crimson in color, Bordiglioni’s ‘11 estate blend combines dark, dried cherry and spice aromas on the nose with hints of vanilla and clove. Agile and well-balanced, the fruit-meets-spice interplay continues on the palate with red cherry, plum, thyme, rosemary, black pepper, and warm baking spices. Medium acidity and well-integrated tannins make this easy to love, wheter it’s on the dinner table or sipped solo."
"Fruit forward black berry, jammy with a nice balanced finish."=4.3/5
